The Board provides:

• Emergency Medical Services

• Housing Services

• Ontario Works and related social services 

The Board's jurisdiction is all of the territorial District of Algoma but excludes the City of Sault Ste. Marie, the Township of Prince and the unincorporated townships in the Sault North Planning Board area.  ADSAB is one of ten District Social Services Administration Boards formed under the District Social Services Administration Board Act.

The Algoma District Services Administration Board (ADSAB) administration office is located in Little Rapids, Ontario.
