The goal of the FOCUS Community Program is to prevent problems, including injuries, associated with alcohol and other drug use. Currently there are 22 FOCUS Communities throughout Ontario.

Vision:
Sault Ste. Marie is a community that is free of injuries and chronic diseases related to drugs and alcohol and drug abuse.

Mission:
Focus Sault Ste. Marie is a community partnership of organizations and individuals committed to preventing alcohol and drug abuse, and related injuries & Chronic disease by promoting healthy lifestyles through awareness, education, environmental support and policy development.
